Guy Boisvert
The Hon. Guy W. Boisvert was a justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of New Brunswick for over 30 years. He began painting after his retirement. He resides in Bathurst. His paintings are sought-after by art lovers and collectors alike. Many of his compositions are inspired by the rich history of the Acadian Peninsula and the Bay of Chaleur, an area which welcomed early European settlers to North America. He is of the impressionist school, where colours and light influence his vision.
L’honorable Guy W. Boisvert a découvert sa passion pour la peinture après avoir siegé à la cour supérieure de sa province pour plus de 30 ans. Il habite la région acadienne du nord-est du Nouveau-Brunswick. Il trouve une source d’inspiration dans le riche paysage qu’il habite. Il favorise l’approche impressioniste, avec un jeu de couleurs juxtaposées et les touches de lumières.

Most of my paintings are mounted in frames. My medium is acrylic. Unless indicated otherwise, I use premium stretched canvas. Many of the frames showing were acquired in antique shops. You can acquire my works with or without these beautiful frames. If interested in any of my art work, please contact me at: gboisvert@bellaliant.net and I will get back to you with a selling price. Remember that by purchasing direct from me, you save the gallery commission which can easily amount to 40%. Let me know if you want the mounted frame. Some of the frames are rather large, some are also heavy; this may of course affect price and shipping costs. We can also discuss the preferred shipment method. Payment by e-transfer or certified cheque please.
